When building on steep sites your cost of building will go increase but your design is vital as it can help of you save money on building. Where we have helped in design , we have managed to save you clients $50,000.00-$170,000.00.

Foundation design , cladding and foot print of the dwelling being the major aspects. 5 cosy place had separate floor levels of garage, bedrooms, kitchen & lounge at lot 3-4 at the rear. Which saved a lot of cost on retaining height, excavation and backfill.

Owner didn’t want to make it a basic build so we didn’t go for the basic cladding and we also had floating decks. One thing Steep sites gives you is views (not all of them ) but get them where possible. Because of different floor levels, foundation was bit complicated but rewarding and it went all smooth. Howick is a good area and owner had the move in date for the tenants the next week after we finished!
